Some links on this site earn me money. Here is exactly which ones, and what that does and doesn't change.

The rule I hold myself to: a tool gets recommended here because it earned its place in real work, or it doesn't get recommended. Where I haven't put a tool through real work, I say so in the article itself rather than hiding behind a generic disclosure page.

How affiliate links are marked

Every article containing one carries a plain-English disclosure near the top, before you read a single recommendation.
Affiliate links are tagged rel="sponsored" in the markup, so search engines and any tool you use can identify them.
Prices and terms are checked at the time of writing and dated. They change; the article doesn't automatically.

What it doesn't buy

No company reviews, approves, or sees an article before it goes live.
No verdict has ever been changed because of a commission, and none will be. When a tool I'm partnered with is the wrong choice for you, the article says so.
Comparisons are not ranked by what pays. The Cursor comparison recommends a tool I earn nothing from.

Why run affiliate links at all

This site has no ads, no paywall, no sponsored posts, and no newsletter list rented to anyone. Affiliate commissions are what let it stay that way. If you'd rather not contribute, use a plain search instead of the link — the writing is the same either way, and I'd rather you trust it.
